You have heard the expression, "Beauty is skin deep", well, this is very true. Beauty starts with great looking skin. Skin should have a glow. Skin should be in perfect balance. You want it to behave itself and not cause havoc when you need it to look its best. It's not as hard as you might think. The beauty and cosmetic industry would like you to think otherwise. If you just get rid of all those products that you bought in the past, clean off your shelves and just get down to basics. Find an easy skin care regimen that works for you, something that will be easy to follow. Your complexion will love you for it.
Soak up, like a sponge all the information from the experts you can. Get out there and find the new innovative anti-aging and natural products that actually work so that down the road, no matter what your age, you can always have great looking skin. Some of the good things for your skin are free. What is the one thing you do everyday, all day, without even thinking about it? Breathe! But, because we take this for granted, and do it without even thinking about it, we rarely think about the vital process.
So right now STOP what you're doing and take a deep breath. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Do this inhale and exhale six times, nice and slow. Take as much time on the exhale as you take on the inhale.
Breathing is taking in oxygen, and your skin needs oxygen to look alive and radiant. Anything you do that makes you breathe deep, will help your skin have a vibrant glow. Think about when you exercise, or go for a brisk walk in the cold, after your done, if you look in the mirror your skin is glowing and your cheeks are rosy. So basically what I'm saying is GET MOVING! It doesn't have to be anything strenuous, take a walk for a few minutes, dance around the room, go up and down the stairs a few times, run around your car in the parking lot, the point is to just get moving.
Another free good thing for your skin is water. We all pretty much know by now that drinking water is good for our bodies. But do we really think of it as being good for our skin? Most people probably don't drink enough water throughout their day. Hydrating your skin is very important to having healthy skin. Being dehydrated can cause you to become sluggish, have headaches, constipation, and all these things end up showing on your face as "no-glow", wrinkles, frown lines, and blemishes. Because your body is two-thirds water, you do need to replace it as it starts to diminish. Flowers or plants need water to be replenished as they drink it up in the vase or pot, why wouldn't we have to do the same?
